Why should I get baptized?
If God has changed you are now a Christ follower, baptism is for you!
Jesus himself was baptized and the pattern in the Bible was to BELIEVE and BE BAPTIZED.
So that's what we do.  We do it not out of religion or a rule but just simply to show the world, our friends, and family that we are serious about our new committment to God!  We want to obey God and what He asks of us. 

Think of it like wearing your favorite team's jersey.  You are proud of your team and pumped to let everyone around you know that!  That is what baptism is all about.  Showing everyone around you the new team that you now represent.

What if I was baptized as a baby?
That's cool.  But, if you just made a new committment to God, then it is time to do it in front of everyone to let them know what God has done in the inside of you. 

Can my family and friends come?
Of course!  We want you to bring them!  The more, the better! Some students have brought a whole cheering section of 20 or more.  Pretty cool to have all of them to support you and share this monumental occasion, even if they don't normally go to church.

What should I bring?
Bring a towel and a change of clothes.  Oh...and a camera to capture the moment!
